Start Up Energy Transition Award & Jury

Helped build the Start Up Energy Transition (SET) Award at the German Energy Agency (dena) from the ground up (2016-2022), scaling it into a globally recognised platform with 3,000+ applicants from 120+ countries within it’s first four years. Led award programme design, jury coordination, early communication & outreach strategy, network partnerships, and international collaborations, ultimately directing a team of seven and managing government-funded initiatives with six-figure budgets.

Curated an annual jury of 30+ investors, corporates, and innovation leaders representing diverse geographies and sectors. Coordinated multi-round evaluation processes, developed scoring frameworks that balanced innovation potential with market viability, and helped facilitate the annual jury deliberations that determined which startups would win the SET.
